That was a nice bonus on holiday to see Federer cruise through to win lead up tournament to the action at Flushing Meadows which begins later today in New York.

My angle on all tennis tournaments is to to pick a player from each quarter of the draw and thats the way im approaching todays tournament.

SUPER 15 FINAL

After Round 1 is completed its looking like at least 2 of my selections for The Bridgestone Golf are in with a fighting chance of a win and certainly a Top 5 place. 

So moving into the weekend and the final in the Southern Hemisphere. This on paper is going to be a belter of a game.

The Tahs will have home advantage and statistically been the best team in the league all season, however ive steadily watched the Crusaders come to the party over recent weeks.

Players returning from injury has bought a new freshness to the squad and lead from the from the front by Richie McCaw, my heart says Tahs home advantage but my head says class and experience will win.
